      NVA Strichtarn Gloves

Genuine East German military gloves in good unissued condition.

Manufactured around the 1970 to 1980 period for the armed forces of East Germany. These heavy-duty gloves are unissued deadstock; with no signs of wear or use. Gloves may have marks or creases as a result of long-term storage but can be easily cleaned-up.

The gloves are constructed of a tough cotton fabric printed with the characteristic 'Strichtarn' (Stripe Camouflage) of the NVA (National People's Army). The gloves feature warm felt lining, elasticated cuffs, suede-like reinforcement around the palm and fingers, and four separate digits (please see photographs).
